Hier seht ihr ein paar Fussball begeisterte Mädels. Ja, die WM ist auch an uns hier in "little Switzerland" nicht vorbei gegangen. Public viewing (eines dieser tollen neuen Wortschöpfungen...) an der Limmat, das war prima, da konnt man grad mal zwischendurch in den Fluss springen! Inzwischen hat der, genau wie der Züri-See, allerdings 26°C warm und ist kaum noch eine Abkühlug.
Here you see a couple of girls watching football. Yeah, the World Cup enthusiams also reached little Switzerland. Here we are at the river (the Limmat) - that was great because you could actually jump into the water whenever you felt like it. By now, the river (just like the lake) is quite warm (26 degrees) and doesn't feel that refreshing anymore.


Das war vor ein paar Wochen, ich stehe hier ebenfalls in der Limmat. Picknick mit Ursina am Fluss. Wir mussten durchs Wasser laufen, um auf eine kleine, sehr picknick-geeignete Insel zu gelangen. Hier kühlen wir grad den Prosecco nochmal schnell im Wasser...
That was a few weeks ago, I'm standing in the Limmat here. Ursina (good friend of mine) and I cycled out of town for a picknick. You see our bottle of Prosecco cooling down in the water...








... und hier hatten wir sicher schon einen Teil der Flasche konsumiert....
